Stories

HIV doesn't have the public profile it used to. For a lot of people out there in our many communities, HIV is no longer something people think about. It's now not so much a problem of negative images, but one of hardly any images at all.
Following are stories and photographs recorded by people with HIV. Their stories challenge prejudice, isolation and discriminatory attitudes by presenting a public face of the realities and diversities of living with HIV. They also raise awareness of the changing issues of HIV within gay and lesbian communities, HIV positive communities and broader communities and get people to talk about HIV.
These stories ask us to take responsibility and care, to regard each person represented as we would regard ourselves.

A special thank you to all the people who have been willing to share their stories with us.
