World Aids Day NSW 2008: 1 December
1 December marks the 20th anniversary of World AIDS Day as declared by The World Health Organisation (WHO) in 1988.
While we have come a long way in preventing the spread of HIV and in the advancement of treatments for HIV, there is no vaccine or cure yet. HIV is still here!
Across New South Wales, HIV/AIDS community organisations, health workers and volunteers will be hosting events to mark World AIDS Day 2008.
